Las Vegas Signature Chefs 2009

I love a great party. A party with fantastic food is even better (because food makes a party, right?). March of Dimes hosts an annual event called Signature Chefs and it's one of the best parties of the year. Here's the scoop on the food, the auction and everything in between. Continue reading »

We’re Having Visitors…Again!

Living in Las Vegas has many advantages. One of them is never having a problem getting friends and family to visit. It's amazing how many long-lost friends (even the ones that we haven't seen or spoken to in ten years) will call and want to get together. It seems that everyone wants to visit Las Vegas, and I've gotten pretty good at playing hostess. Continue reading »

The Battle of the Bulge

My New Hobby: Wedding Planning

A really fun thing about living in Las Vegas is, it seems that no matter where I go, someone is almost always getting married. I see brides in beautiful white dresses everywhere, patiently waiting to sign their lives away. My three-year-old daughter calls them "princesses". She's got the right idea. Continue reading »

I’m A Pool Snob? Maybe.

My husband calls me a pool snob. Maybe I am, but not everyone gets to hang out at the Mandalay Bay pool every weekend like I do, either. Continue reading »
