Lettin’ Loose in Laughlin

Invited to speak at a library function in Laughlin, Nev., I was eager to meet aspiring authors. I was also eager to meet the bikers who roared into town that weekend for the annual Laughlin River Run. Getting to Planet Hollywood

The northeast corner of The Strip and Harmon Avenue has seen an odd assortment of Las Vegas dreams over the years. What Happens in Vegas

Not surprisingly, several theaters in Las Vegas hosted “sneak previews” of “What Happens in Vegas” tonight. I couldn’t resist, partly because it’s my self-appointed duty to report on movies with “Vegas” in the title, and partly because I was curious to see how many people would turn up to see it in a neighborhood cineplex.
