No matter how much I play the cigar-smoking tough guy, an adorable family pet forces me to reveal my mellow side. The pet is Matilda, my American bulldog – a big, sturdy, brave, loyal, loving, wrinkly, slobbery dog who began life in the most wretched circumstances, abused and starving in a Texas puppy mill. She got her second chance through the heroic efforts of the Las Vegas Wrinkle Rescue, and I can't say enough about them. Continue reading »
