When I first moved to Las Vegas, I had three-month-old baby, had recently quit my job as a successful bartender and was a brand new, stay-at-home mom. Being home with a new baby, 24 hours a day, was one of the hardest life transitions I've ever had to make. But then I discovered the world of mommy playgroups - which made my shift from bartender-to-mom a much easier (and more fun!) progression. Continue reading »

Have you ever wanted to learn how to tango? Make yoghurt? Speak Japanese? Well, you can, right here in Las Vegas. The area's many adult education centers offer courses from "Pet CPR" to "Recreational Pole Dancing." The classes are fun, often inexpensive, a great way to meet people – and registration is just a click of the mouse away.
