The mercury is rising in Las Vegas that means it’s time to soak up the sun while shopping for new summer looks. Located downtown, in an outdoor setting, Las Vegas Premium Outlets are open year round; although, I tend to do much of my shopping there spring through fall. The heat might be tough on some folks during the summer months, but misters and shady spots dot the outlets to keep shoppers cool.

The Premium Outlets offer big brand shopping bargains. Everything from Calvin Klein to Levis can be found. Including a list of stores that are rare finds at other outlets such as Banana Republic, Ann Fontaine and True Religion, Ed Hardy, Juicy Couture, Ann Taylor and Lucky Brand Jeans. Even the kids are not forgotten, there are ten stores dedicated to children’s apparel. Shoes? Let’s not forget shoes, there are more than twenty outlets with a focus on footwear. With more than 150 stores, one is sure to have a purchase you can’t resist.

I frequent a number of the clothing stores, but it’s the shoe stores that set these outlets apart from the others. I won’t sacrifice comfort so I adore Ecco, Bass, and also Hush Puppies & Family since they carry Merrell Footwear. Additionally, my husband wears a size 15 shoe, most places only carry sizes up to 13. However, I’m often able to locate his hard to find size at a few retailers, Factory Brand Shoes is especially helpful. If a shoe carried is not in stock they offer free home delivery. If it’s an ill-fit or you change your mind the shoes can be returned to any Factory Brand Shoes location.

Overall, the selection at these stores is really great; there is a good mix of last season and current trends, with savings from 25% to 65% every day. Make sure to visit the information booth, located across from Kenneth Cole for additional discount opportunities. You can pick up coupon booklets, which offer savings at your favorite stores. Plus a concierge is available for assistance.

Driving? Two parking garages offer plenty of parking. Visiting? RTC bus 401 or CX will get you there. Taxis are an alternative and plenty are available.
