Last week’s puzzle, a hole in the ground, proved to be too tough, so maybe another bridge will be easier? There’s been a lot of news about this area… so…What is the name of this bridge?

1) Anyone can play! If you think you know the location of the place or landmark pictured in the mystery photo(s) and can answer the accompanying questions, please post your responses as a comment below. Locations and landmarks are all located within a 35-mile radius of Las Vegas City Hall.

2) We invite you to contribute mystery photos to Vegas Eye and pose your own puzzle questions. If you’d like to contribute, please keep in mind that a good subject for a mystery photo should be unique in some way. There should be subtle but identifiable visual clues in the photo to help players solve the puzzle. Please send photos and puzzle questions to Vegas Eye at this address. (Please submit high resolution photos. Full-size images straight from your camera are best.)

3) If the players and contributors of this Vegas Eye game are unable to completely solve the questions posed by Vegas Eye, than Vegas Eye will be compelled to provide and post answers within a 30-day period of the original post. Participants in this Vegas Eye game will be awarded some level of bonus points for solving these puzzles within the thirty-day period. The calibration of the relative value of these bonus points is still be determined. However, you can win some official LLV coffee mugs, if you can play the match game here.

  1. I’m almost certain that I know this one, but I’ll let some non writer take a stab. I’ll check back tomorrow and see if it’s solved and put in my guess if it isn’t.

  3. Okay, then. My best guess is that this is a bridge across the Flamingo Wash Trail being developed by Clark County along, well, Flamingo Wash. This spot is next to Lamb Boulevard, I think. It might be Nellis, but I’m going with Lamb. I think that covers all three points: Flamingo Wash, Flamingo Wash Trail, next to Lamb Boulevard.

    Good guess, but…. no.

    Let’s see your guess is about 3.5 miles north and east of this location.

    We’ve published a couple of articles about this “creek” — This location is in Henderson and the bridge has been there at least a decade.

    I always thought this would be a cool place to watch for flash floods — but they’ve controlled the upstream part of this creek so much, I can’t imagine that there’s much chance of this now.
