Lots of name changes at Las Vegas’s premier convention resort. These days The Venetian Las Vegas is known as The Venetian Resort and the former Sands Expo & Convention Center is now The Venetian Expo. Las Vegas Sands Inc. has sold The Venetian, Palazzo and Sands Expo and Convention Center for $6.25 billion to Apollo Globel management and Vici Properties. Vici is a New York-based real estate investment trust affiliated with Caesars Entertainment Inc.
However, rather than focus on ownership or conventions, this report focuses on the retail end of The Venetian Resort – all the stores available for shopping and there are plenty. We took just a leisurely stroll primarily through the Grand Canal Shoppes and after a couple hours…we were tired. If you have never taken such a stroll, enjoy the video below:
Thank you for the tour! Wow, tons of stores and eateries! I enjoyed seeing the upscale jewelry, clothing/accessory and art stores. The only thing I didn’t see were any of the “statue” people…all dressed in costume. I hope they will be back, but the live music was good, too.
