Touring the Stores at The Venetian Resort

Lots to see when touring the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort. Here we can watch an expensive suit get altered.

Lots of name changes at Las Vegas’s premier convention resort. These days The Venetian Las Vegas is known as The Venetian Resort and the former Sands Expo & Convention Center is now The Venetian Expo. Las Vegas Sands Inc. has sold The Venetian, Palazzo and Sands Expo and Convention Center for $6.25 billion to Apollo Globel management and Vici Properties. Vici is a New York-based real estate investment trust affiliated with Caesars Entertainment Inc.

However, rather than focus on ownership or conventions, this report focuses on the retail end of The Venetian Resort – all the stores available for shopping and there are plenty. We took just a leisurely stroll primarily through the Grand Canal Shoppes and after a couple hours…we were tired. If you have never taken such a stroll, enjoy the video below:

  1. Thank you for the tour! Wow, tons of stores and eateries! I enjoyed seeing the upscale jewelry, clothing/accessory and art stores. The only thing I didn’t see were any of the “statue” people…all dressed in costume. I hope they will be back, but the live music was good, too.
