Last week, the National Association of Broadcasters Show (NAB Show) was in town. Their 100th convention and trade show had more than 1000 exhibitors in three halls and the parking lot of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The NAB Show, held annually in Las Vegas, is an unrivaled convention for the media, entertainment, and technology industries. Attracting professionals from around the globe, this prestigious event showcases the latest advancements in broadcasting, digital media, film, television, and radio. Participants have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge products and solutions, attend insightful conferences and workshops led by industry experts, and network with a diverse array of professionals. As an epicenter of innovation and creativity, the NAB Show provides attendees with a unique platform to exchange ideas, forge new partnerships, and stay up-to-date with the ever-evolving landscape of the industry.
Along with the physical exhibits, an extensive educational offering was available as well. For example, among the many topics at the convention were:
“From Dream to Reality: Starting and Building a Successful Photo Business in 2023,” “Building and Monetizing Your YouTube Channel,” “Let’s Go Live — 3 Easy-to-Tape Strategies for Creating Impactful Visual Stories” and “The Story of Light: Understanding and Mastering Lighting.”
I attended the show in only one building, the Las Vegas Convention Center Central Hall dubbed one of the “creative” buildings. The hall was huge and I loved seeing everything and learning as I walked. My video is below:
