More than 60,000 conventioneers came to the Las Vegas Convention Center Last week to attend the NAB (National Association of Broadcaster) show. The show occupied every single exhibit hall at the convention center (and some nearby hotel exhibitor areas as well) and even was live-streamed every day for those industry members who couldn’t attend.
NAB is the country’s largest show for media, entertainment and technology. If you want to know how to record an event in your home town and then have some network stream your content around the world, this is the show for you. As for me, NAB has always been so technical, I’m not sure I am smart enough to attend. On the other hand….
I attended NAB in just one building, the new West Hall, and my video is below. I couldn’t possibly in even one day cover all the subjects addressed at the show, but here is a list: broadcast TV, radio, production, post production, news gathering, streaming, cable TV, satellite TV, film restoration, data storage, data management, weather forecasting, industry TV.FX, CGI.connected media, cybersecurity, and more.
In addition to the show’s 1300 exhibitors, NAB also offered 200 lectures, panel discussions and workshops.
For all that, I present a short video to remind viewers of just some of what was on display last week.
Once again I found your video interesting. I am not technical but did find your comments interesting
Thank you for another free tour of interesting exhibitions. Always look forward to your videos. Learning a lot from them.
